![]() | Greetings from the Frozen Wasteland Hello World! I do not currently own a Rebreather, but am about to embark on the adventure. Here is my plan: Objective: To Purchase a Closed Circuit Rebreather and achieve full trimix-level training certification on the unit to continue the learning process of technical SCUBA diving and to take advantage of the added safety it provides for the exploration of wreck, cave, and virtual overhead environments. Key Milestones:

Greeting's Serge, sound's like you are big with time management, nothing wrong with that. It will help you if you head into the cave diving arena. that said, we are fast approaching second quarter of 08, so what have you determined so far? that will help answer some of your questions. all the best. |

A few buddies own evo, inspo, and a meg. A Silent Diving instructor lives near me, that's very convenient. Megs are very cool, and I would not mind making trips down to the cave country for training. A lot of information out there, I'm slowly digesting it. All options are still on the table, but I'm leaning toward E/MCCR. I will chime in with updates. On the whole, it's a large investment of capital and time, and requires a certain amount of planning. Realistically, it looks like 3 to 4 year project to purchase, train, and put hours on the unit. Helps to break it down into several stages. It's all part of the journey. |
