I am still laughing at the description of someone who had a problem with their backside. Described as having a ring like a dragons nostril...priceless. Mike Tony |

![]() ![]() | Welcome to the site Tony, JohnI received your book for Christmas and couldn't put the thing down! This site has a lot of knowledgeable people on it, I'm sure any questions you have will be answered pretty quickly. Enjoy, John I'm glad you enjoyed it. Could you do me a small favour? Would you please leave me a review on Amazon? It all helps. I will have a lot of questions, the re-breathers we used in the Navy, were so simple, even a young sailor like me couldn't get it wrong. Well, not too often. Since I finished "Diver" I've really got the bug for writing, and am now 32, 000 words into my first novel. What's it about? You'll never guess. . . An ex Royal Navy Diver no less. Well, it's all I know! The very first lines have our hero, if you like, diving in about 10 m of water, on a re-breather on pure oxygen. It's a military sensitive area, where he's not meant to be, so ditches the set on the bottom, upon hearing the approach of a fast launch, and swims back up to his yacht. When he clambers out of the water, and on to the bathing platform at the rear, he gets onto a towel and gets his boat moving as quickly as possible. As we all know, this is quite simple to do and there would be no proof for anyone looking around, that he had been diving, because there would be no equipment on board. The thing is I've got him using a simple CDBA, and really I think I should update him a little. Maybe I need that to happen to me as well! I am so out of touch with re-breathers, but I don't really know where to start. I'll get there. Tony |
