| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Grand Cayman checking in.... Guess I should stop lurking and actually post an intro too ![]() I'm based in Grand Cayman, work in the finance industry, and have been qualified to dive the inspiration since 2003. Sadly since Hurricane Ivan in Sept 2004 I have not been active as my company sent me all over the place until October 2007 when I finally got to come back to GC! So my poor unit has been sitting, gathering dust for three years, and suffered being transported from Cayman to Geneva, Geneva to Jersey, and now Jersey back to Cayman. So now I'm settled in GC, I am trying to breath some life back into my unit. But so far the electronics (classic type) have come up with all sorts of problems and seem way too unreliable. Think I am . So, if tinkering with it cannot get it to reliably function, I am thinking about a new unit. IMHO rebreather diving is the best way to dive ever. If you have not got a unit yet, GET ONE. You'll never want to dive OC again. Cheers for now, Simon. |
