I usually stay in the Chonburi area and just completed several CCR tech courses with Bruce Konefe (ANDIBK). He is based in Pattaya and is a ANDI IT. We did a CCR Deco class, Kiss CCR Crossover, Technical Wreck, Cavern and Cave. We did most of the dives on wrecks in the Pattaya area. They now have several that are nice for training in the 30M range. We headed up to Thong Pha Phum for the Cavern and Cave course in a freshwater lake. I know Bruce also goes to PI to do some Wreck and Cave dives.

I prefer the more technical nature of the ANDI courses and Bruce has been teaching in Thailand for around 14 years. He knows the SE Asia area and conducts a very indepth course. I am sure you would be highly sastified as I was. Feel free to PM me if you have further questions.

Thanks for all the recommendations guys I really appriciate it,

Well said sir.. I will never forget the Hobbits

Could have done with some today mind, Ben had me on all fours crawing with doubles through a 50ft passage in the new caves in krabi

hes just seaking revenge for all the times hes been struggling with his big heavy twins and weve been on ccr

fwiw in my admitedly limited experience a pair of sidemounted small tanks are my weapons of choice for cave dives involving dry caving to get to water, cant imagine trying to drag twins thru low passages and crawls

You should not forget your local Rebreather the Pelagian. It seems to be a good unit.
I can vouch for the Pelagian made by Andy Fritz on Koh Samui, Thailand. I have been very happy with mine. Mark Ellyatt used to be very anti-rebreather but seems to now be a convert after acquiring a Pelagian and has dived his to 147 meters several times.

You can get more details here: http://www.rebreatherlab.com/pelagian.htm

Carl
