Crashing Laptop

Help,
Laptop crashes every time I try to access a thread Im guessing somethings not set right ? any ideas.

please define crashes.. there are lots of levels of problems

Yes, needs a lot more detail:
What was changed last?
Were you updating anything when it crashed?
What OS (Windows, Linux, Mac...)?
What hardware?
Any devices attached?
What tyep of crash (blue screen, system freezes, won't boot...)?

Abandon Internet Explorer and try Mozilla Firefox instead ;-)

If I had to guess I would say it's a component of your web browser, such as shockwave or flash. They are often called to render the advertisements on the pages.

You may be able to turn off "display images" in the control panel / settings to test that theory.
