Why I don't have the money to buy a hybrid rEvo ???

I think the hybrid system is the key to the future: eCCR assisted by a Kiss valve, a real redundancy.

hey steph,

i have been thinking that i would wait on the parachute eccr system until i get some hours on the mccr version or until the dollar shapes up a little more against the euro. glad to see im not the only one in this boat!!

Hello Marv,

I don't see the electronic as a parachute. The controller used has such interesting features, it would be a shame to use it only as a security system triggered by low O2 in the loop.
For me, it's more like the best of both world: I will be flying the unit manually most of the time and can change to eCCR when there is a heavy work load (current, very low vis, scootering, etc...).
For very deep dives, the ability to blank the orifice and work as a pure eCCR is really a plus.
Anyway, now that I sold my machine, I have to order a new one and save some money to get the Shearwater.
