Hello from FL/CA

Hey guys:

Started my KISS class on Sat. and am going in the pool tomorrow morning.

Really excited about it and thought I would join the board to learn more and ask lots of questions!

I will be getting a Sport KISS Unit when I complete the course.

Went diving on the oil rigs off San Pedro, CA yesterday and about 6 guys had rebreathers and got me even more excited to complete the course.

Great little unit, the Sport Kiss, you'll enjoy it.
That first OW dive will be awesome, realizing just how much there is to hear around you.

Would love to dive SoCal again.

Hi Jillian,

I noticed the subject of your posting indicates both Florida and California - Where in Florida do you dive/reside?

We have a pretty active group of rebreather divers in Southeast Florida. If you go to the Florida S.C.R.U.B.'s area of the Forum section of this site, you will see some of the postings of past and future trips, as well as trip reports and pictures from some of out past trips. Most of our dives are Rebreather only trips, which make it easier for us to extend our bottom times and take advantage of our rebreather's capabilities. Here's a quick link to the site:

Once you complete your class, we'd love to have you join us on any of our upcoming dive or feel free to post a dive you have planned and many of the local rebreather divers may very well join you.

AWWW!! Thanks Walt! Yes, I started the class out here because Mike had set it up. Pool on Thursday then ocean on Sunday!! Only doing 2 dives before I head back to FL. Would love to get in the water with you and Doug for some additional training.

We get to play with the sharkies first. Everything is ago!!!
