Hello Rebreatherworld

Hi!

after a while of browsing this Forum I think it´s about time to say Hello....

My Name is Nico and I´m Diving a modified Dolphin.
Actually I´m in the last steps of making it a mCCR, what is still missing is the sensors/ electronics, so kind of the most important and most expencive...

The mechanical part is done, tested it with a borrowed Aladin Oxy2 which I don´t want to use because of the wireless problems.

I will use a VR3 with integrated sensors in a housing from tecme, and for redundancy a simple PO2 display which I´m still looking for, so I´m thankfull for any hints regarding simple not too expencive displays, ....

For the Rest I live in Germany and mostly dive in Egypt at the Dive Center of a friend of mine who also was my Boss when I worked there a couple of years ago.
Started Diving in 97, 30 years old, ~550 dives, certified DSAT TMX Diver, PADI MSDT and SCR Instructor.

What else...??... don´t know, If you like to know anything just ask...

Hi Nico,

welcome and a lot of fun here on RBW. Greetings from Wuppertal. Have a look at the new Shearwater Pursuit. I use the old style with my classic inspiration and the 3 cell reading. Works PERFECT.

Hi Nico,
nice to have You in the family of Rebreatherworld. Have a look to the new pursuite from shearwater, i own a VR3 and the shearwater. Pursuit can monitor up to 3 cells, has a nice deco-profile (GF) an works fine. VR3 works fine too, but can read only one cell and has a very conservativ deco profile.

a another vote for the pursuit/gf.works perfekt 120m/ walchensee/mccr,easy dive.

shearwater ,80 dives ,mostley tmx , zero hits.
vr3, 1 dive ,tmx ,1 hit

Hi all,

thanks for the nice welcome!

regarding my "problem".... well, the VR3 is bought, was a price I couldn´t resist, so shearwater is out of the race for the moment, well, maybe as display only, but therefor it is very expencive.... but it´s all expencive....

Don´t know what to do, think I gonna wait until the boat show in germany before taking a decision.....

thx anyway....
