Smile Salutations from Belgium

Hello Everyone,

Just started sampling rebreather diving. Before this, I have never dived on rebreathers before. I've done a CCR Mod I on Evo with tekstreme at Emperor Divers and it was great. They introduced me to a whole new world. Now I am considering owning a rebreather but would like to try other rebreathers before purchasing my own unit.

Re: Salutations from Belgium

Welcome to Rebreather World!
I encourage you to try out as many rebreathers as you can before making the big decision about which rig you are going to purchase.
Even if they are pool dives, better than not try at all.

Again, welcome on board. Enjoy the "dark side of diving"

cheers,

RBN

Hello Nicolite and Johan;

I'd like to introduce myself.

I'm expecting a move to Den Haag in the next months. I hope to maintain my interest in tek Rebreather diving. Although I've got some hours/experience behind me, I'll be way out of my comfort zone in cold waters (never used a drysuit yet), and strange new European places. I hope my thin tropical skin can handle the rigours of the damp cold of North Europe.

I'll be in Belgium lots (my wife's family are in Belgium).

May our paths cross.

G

Re: Salutations from Belgium

Hi Nicolite, Gilles,

Another welcome from Belgium. Our regular dive team contains 10 rebreather divers (Inspos & Evos) and it is growing continously.

We regularly dive in the Oosterschelde, local lakes (Put van Ekeren, Zilvermeer) and at least two (tek) dive trips per year more exotic locations.

Let me know if you want to join us for a dive, a beer, some advice or a trip. If you want I can add you to our rebreather activity email distribution list.

I wasn't too impressed the last two years, but since I work a lot in Dusseldorf, I probably visit it this year again.
