Greetings from Indiana

Hi folks.

longtime lurker, first time poster.

Any rebreather divers around Indiana?

I am about to get my first rebreather. An Azimuth.

I am planning to get trained by Douglas Ebersole in Lakeland FL.

Until then I will be leaking precious gasses into the water at a huge wasteful rate.

Any spare parts or upgrades for an Azimuth around?

How about a DSV/BOV for one?

Dwain

Re: Greetings from Indiana

Hi Dwain, welcome to Rebreather World.

OEM Azimuth parts can be a pita to find, and an expensive one at that.
Maybe Doug can point you in a good direction.

TecMe in Germany has a bunch of custom parts for the Azimuth, mostly adapters and cell holders, some of them for CC conversion. But a pO2 monitor is a good idea anyway. They have an excellent reputation and ship ww.

BOV shouldn't be an issue, either Jakub at Golem Gear or Tracy at Divematics USA will be able to help. I know that Divematics does custom threads, if they haven't done them for the OMG connectors they'll need it to make and test them. Otherwise either other connectors that fit your hoses can be used, or the hose can be clamped directly to the DSV (the least convenient option IMHO).
