| I've been lurking for some while now, since my Evolution has been on order. Just heard that they are finally building it - Hurrah! I'll probably do the training for it in the Caymans (I live in London but thats far to cold at this time of year!) Unlike most on this forum I have no real love of deep wrecks but want the Evolution for photography. So, just thought I'd say hi before I bore you all with tales from training and attempts to get the Vision electronics to talk to my PDA! SubalKen |

| SubalKen Thats the same reason I have an Evolution on order. Hoping to get closer to the big marine life with a rebreather but there are many other benefits to using them. I was amazed after doing 2 hour dives how much better I felt than using OC on a 45 minute dive. I did my Mod 1 training at Divetech in Grand Cayman this last May so I would be happy to answer any questions you might have. If you are using Divetech I can highly recomend them. Both Nat and Seb are excellent instructors and they have a first rate facility. |

Yes, it's very true. It used to be a treat to see eagle rays on OC. With CC they actually came up and looked us in the face and swam right between us. I've had angel fish just stare me in the face nose to nose for minutes on end. The fish on the reef are way more out and exposed to CC divers. It was amazing to see chromis 12-15' off the reef. When OC divers came along they packed back down to within1-2' of the reef.SubalKen Cayman is a great choice for training. I highly recommend Divetech. They have it all: Knowledge, experience, equip.etc.. Nancy, Seb, Nat are all first rate people. Warm, moist gas, better deco------it doesn't get much better. Bill |
