Howdy and DEMA

I'm not usually much of a 'joiner', but having inadvertantly been led here by one of ole Tom Roses' msgs on DEMA attendance, and finding the site interesting, I'll 'hang 10' here occasionally.

I'm an old X-Navy Hard-Hat and EOD/UDT Frog, who is suffering thru a resurgence of interest in RBs I've dived a few places...and some rigs youre probably not old enough to be familiar with ,... including:
SSDS: MK V, DESCO Lightweight, MK 12, and KMDI C-17 Ultralite
CCR: Pirelli LS-901 and -701, Drager Lt. Lund II, DESCO B-Lung,
LARU, Emerson CCR, and homebuilds.
SCR: CDBA and MK 6
ECCR: Emerson Electrolung
And, of course, several types of OCs, including mixed-gas and
homebuilds

With the resurgence of interest in RBs, I'm starting out configuring a simple MCCR, using some RG-UF/M parts, adding a mixed-gas subsystem, and a few new homebuilding twists and features.

I'm not sure I'll be able to make DEMA this time, but if I do, I'd enjoy splitting a beer and lying a lot with some of you.

Your list there reads like a table of contents in rebreather history.
I've only seen a few of those rigs, the LARU at the HDS, the MK6 a friend has,
and some of Nick Icorn's collection.

And some people MK15s are old.

Good to have you onboard.
