![]() | Hello, my name is David and I'm a OC diver... I aspire to some day become a CCR diver, or at least, that is what I would like to... As you can see, I don't have any real hope in my future as a CCR diver, mainly because of the economics involved, but as for many other humans out there, hope is still there. Currently I'm an OC diver with nitrox certificate and a twin 12-liter steel tank setup. Diving the cold murky waters off the swedish southern coast for most of the time. I'm currently looking for a course in accelerated deco proceedures or a rec trimix course to extend the time that you have at around 40 meters of depth (that's about 120 feet...) |

Admintting your problem is the first step in recovery.... welcome to the group... you are surrounded by recovering OC divers. And a few who still have a problem. I actually had a relapse this weekend. I was teaching an OC tech class and had to don doubles. Don't worry though, I didn't enjoy it.Although my wife has told me a rebreather addiction is more costly then OC. ![]() ![]()

![]() | Re: Hello, my name is David and I'm a OC diver... With increasing prices on He (the prices where up with 40% the other day) it's easier and easier to promote the dark side. Previously I allways wondered over the term 'dark side' but after investigating the sizeable investment it means to convert I now know that it's refering to the black hole it creates in your bank account... |
