Most dive operators (100 km south of Melb)will accept breathers & take them diving if they have the certs that will cover the dive site. click on the Rebreather World world map in the Menu Bar. Zoom in on Melbourne tick both the destination & members buttons to see where we are all hiding. In & around Port Phillip heads is where most of the recreational dives happen. Except for my operation which is aimed at the technical market & we dive mainly wrecks 99% of the time outside of the bay & down the coast. What breather are you diving?

![]() ![]() | Re: Moving to Melbourne, Austrlia welcome Rob, as Jeff says, there's a few RBs around the area. Most of them either post here or on diveoz so should be fairly easy to get in touch. As well as Scuttlebutt, the DiveVic group is reasonably Rebreather friendly as Jason dives one too. They boost O2 so it's okay for fills, but it is a bit of a cattletruck operation in the summer - nice, friendly, but quick turnarounds. |

Not sure on your arrival time table--- but there is a Rebreather gathering next week at the Bells Hotel. JDZ has announced it on DiveOz Dive-Oz Discussion Forums - Rebreather get together 27/11/07 Melb
