![]() | New member Hi all ! My names Tim Padfield from Newport , South Wales , i've been diving for approx 4 years , i've now got myself an Azimuth semi closed rebreather after reading articles on this site. after reading one article by Jaap ? - about the scrubber welds , i decided to check mine - i poured water into the exhale side to test the internal weld thinking it would take some time for the water to seep through, it didn't - i got a wet crutch straight away ! i cut the end off the scrubber and found only 4 tack welds holding the partition in place and gaps upto 3mm wide - straight into the inhale side, bypassing the sorb. anyway a quick tig job and good as new. if you do own an Azimuth check it out! apart from that it makes me laugh every time i use it. |
