Greetings

Greetings All,

I am new to this forum, but not to Tech and Cave diving; I am not a rebreather diver, but I am invovled with schedule development for rebreathers (Mk16 mod 0 & Mk16 mod 1 - N2 and He).

I am peripherally involved with accident analysis, and get asked to provide input from the technical (as apposed to military or commercial) side.

Recently our efforts have required more familiarization with recreational/technical rebreathers, after getting a link to this forum from Heather Armstrong, and I figured I would lurk (and then ask questions) to learn more about how rebreathers are used in tech diving.

I do plan to switch to a rebreather sometime in the future, but only once we have observed a good track record for a civilian unit.
