Welcome!Just starting out on my CCR path...currently on an Inspo Classic (and I love it - so no sarcastic remarks) So much to know - if you could give a newbie (ME) just ONE piece of advice what would it be? I'm talking rebreathers here guys (and gals?) Ta v muchly... Mark. Don't worry, I don't know any sarcastic "starting out on my CCR-path" remarks just one piece of advise, huh? Hrm don't tell your significant other how much you spend on rebreathers! I believe everyone here agrees with me that the whole unit including training comes for less than £500 !!! ok, seriously, I'm sure you've already come across the "start slowly, build up your experience, don't push it". Humbleness was rightly mentioned before, but that inevitably grows on you the further you come. Keeping an open mind certainly helps. You will find that you thought you knew about rebreathers, and on this board learn all about the things that we all have no clue about. Ask questions, and don't take anything for granted maybe? Just one thing ... (think, think ...)? How about: Always dive with a competent buddy? Sigh! you got me, I give up. What's the right answer? Did I pass? Joerg |
