Newbie

Hi Folks, yet another newbie to rebreather's.

Just back from Nuweiba in the Sinai, where I got training from Andi Diez of Emporer Divers using a Drager Dolphin. I did the try dive and 2 days later was on the course

Had an excellent time there (was my third trip to the same place). Was PADI Advanced and NITROX cert up until the course.

Currently completed 51 dives.

I live in Swindon in the UK, but have only dived in warm water so far ....... Not too sure about diving in the UK

Re: Newbie

Welcome!

Diving in the UK is great, you'd be best off finding a local club to dive with if you aren't already in one. Your nearest BSAC branch should be able to take you on some UK diving, although now is not necessarily the best time of year to start that!

Enjoy

Re: Newbie

Jump in quick!

The water is still 14C+ so you'll be warm ish in a 7mm semi dry, then once you have seen how good the diving is you'll soon be getting a drysuit and diving all year round.
