![]() | Hello I have recently bought a Dolphin and i am shortly to do the course. I have been diving open circuit for about two and a half years and my passion certainly lies in wrecks. Went to Scapa Flow a few months ago which was every bit as enjoyable as i had expected. I really enjoyed the very basic penetration/swim throughs my very experienced buddy guided me through. I certainly intend to experience more of that and build on it. Thats why it is time for me to make the step to a rebreather so i can enjoy this sort of diving and in my own mind be satisfied that i am using the best tool available. I went for the Dolphin as i wanted a relatively simple and straightforward rebreather that will start me on the learning curve. I suspect in time i will be looking to upgrade to CCR to enable diving of deeper wrecks, but thats a few years away. ( i am however already starting to look longingly at the APECS Meg )Oh well next purchase needs to be a VR3 to monitor po2 and to save having to buy yet another computer when i switch to CCR and then ultimately trimix. Just need to convince the wife i need a grand for another computer and bits safe diving Chris |

There is plenty of info about all kinds of breathers on here and a lot of people with answers to all your questions. Enjoy your training on the Dolphin.
