![]() | Intro: -Choosing my dream Rebreather Hi there honies! I've decided to commit myself to buying an Rebreather. The kind folks down under on the Dive Oz forum and friends from BSAC Sydney have suggested joining you lot on Rebreather World on my quest to find my dream RB. I'm a PADI Instructor, BSAC member and TDI Extended Range Diver. So far I feel that eCCR would be a smarter choice for me rather than a mCCR and this is about as far as I've got so far. Look forward to hearing from you!!!!!! Kind regards, 'Bec (Hornet) Sydney, Australia |

| Go Nude Or Go Home Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Intro: -Choosing my dream Rebreather Hi Bec Welcome to Rebreather World. Plenty of Aussies on here, actually I think 90% of Rebreather divers from down under frequent these boards. Best local people and instructors in Australia to call and have a chat too CCRDiving: Steve James for Megs and Kiss's Southern Cross Divers: Baz for Inspos and Evos, Kiss's Dive Dive Dive: Jason for Inspos, Evos & Optimas, Kiss's Image Dive: Luke for PRISM's & Optimas Of course there are many other units on the market but these currently are the most supported Units in Oz. Best of luck with your search. Cheers Chriso

| No Viz is BAD Viz ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Intro: -Choosing my dream Rebreather Welcome to Rebreather World There is a lot of info here Here is a start... I found these videos a great help. They are from DEMA last year, and they display the Rebreather's in some detail and the vendors give a talk on them. http://www.rebreatherworld.com/photo...ry.php/cat/534 DEMA 2007 is happening in November and there might be a new batch then. Unfortunately OzTek isn't happening till 2009 so you can look at things locally And here is my Journey http://www.rebreatherworld.com/intro...r-journey.html Good Luck with it!!! |

Sit back and enjoy the journey, you are the only one who can make the decision. BTW - if I had my time again, I would be seriously considering the rEvo II...

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Intro: -Choosing my dream Rebreather Welcome aboard. Although I don’t know what your full plans are – range and type of diving you’re interested in. A good choice to start with is the Sport KISS. It maybe manual vs. electronic, but they are easy to setup, dive and clean. Best of all, there are relatively (for CCR’s) inexpensive. We ran a good article on CCR’s targeted at recreational divers in our third issue (see back issues) of the www.underwaterjournal.com |

I'm stuck at home with a blasted chest infection aaarrgghhhhh so plenty of time for some more research. 'Bec ...and it has a 'proper' warning on the scrubber. Welcome to Rebreather World
