![]() | G'day from down under G'day all, I've been watching the site for a while and figured it was time I joined. I've been diving OC since 2002 and was offerd a Ray at a price too good to refuse so I figured 'why not?' My wife assumed it would scratch the itch and stop me from looking more closely at CCR...possibly a flawed theory. So far so good; thouroughly enjoying the experience although I'm still getting used to it. Practice make perfect! Cheers |

![]() | Re: G'day from down under The closest diving from Canberra is Batemans Bay - about an hour and fifty away. Plenty of wrecks and reefs along the coast worth exploring. The Sydney-based guys do a fair amount of deep wreck exploration. East coast diving is pretty good all in all. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: G'day from down under Cool lets start a pissing match. My ... wrecks ... better than your ... wreck ... Fill in the blanks, could be unlimited options there. I'll start with the jackup drilling rig Key Biscayne. The before photograph is courtesy of Imagedive. Now the wreck is happily sitting upside down on the helideck in 42 m (138 ft) of water. All of the drilling gear and accommodation was lost on board. The Derrick, the legs, the drill pipe, all laying horizontal, awesome sight swimming that off from the wreck. Joy.
