Re: Hello from Eilat

Hi Ilan

And welcome to forum. I did some dives at Eilat in 2000 and this was just normal shallow fish photo dives, so whats there for tekkies to dive? Any nice new wrecks found?

Regards

Teppo

Hi
Yes the tech diving in Eilat is very popular and we have wrecks (50,70,105m)
Nice walls (30-65).
We do a lot of CCR diving and training in our dive center as well.
Cheers

Welcome to the Rebreather World forum. You'll find many very experienced Rebreather divers....and nice folks here.
I enjoyed diving Elat about 30 yrs ago, while working with IMI in Tel Aviv.
Very interesting videographic diving at Elat, particularly at night, but only 1 small purposefully-sunk
wreck on diving schedules back then.
More info please on what wrecks you have available now.??

Again Welcome

Dan

Wrecks
One wreck is at 70m, it's a 25m long glass bottom boat and it is located in a very nice area covered with corals.
The other is a small cruise boat around the same size as the first and it's at 50m.
There is one wreck at 105m, 40m long and it's some kind of a utillity boat.

We have some very nice sites with coral walls going down to 120m.
