![]() | Hello from west coast of Sweden Been here a while now and maybe it´s time I introduce myself. I´m 38, from Goteborg, Sweden. Been diving OC since -92, was early on tech when it came to sweden in mid nintees. Always been sceptic to Rebreather but now I´m really bored with OC and I don´t really want to stop diving. Took a dolphin course in cyprus in april and now I plan to buy one and start training, when I feel comfortable with bouyancy, ppO2 monitoring and got the right feeling I´ll probably move on to CC. All I know about Rebreather;s is from reading so I´m here to learn. As a principe (for life) I like simplicity, therefore I´m already a big KISS-fan. (I was a KISS fan when I was thirteen too... Hmmm) I don´t have many role models but one of them is Gordon Smith. My nick is swedish for "uglyface", that´s why I never get the "your nick is already in use by..." comment in forums. Happy diving. Yes, SCR is different to CCR in many ways, and if you are going to go CCR then you would be better doing that than going SCR first-unless you want to get a Dolphin and home build of course! The Dolphin is a good bit of kit, and will let you dive to 40m. It will also do it's best to keep you alive, no matter how hard you try to kill yourself on it. Welcome to Rebreather World
