Canadian diver

I haven't been online in a while - now am at Ottawa, far too far from the ocean (last was diving in the Queen Charlotte Islands and Prince Rupert areas - north coast of British Columbia).

I dive a homebuilt modified Fenzy Frenzy for shallow water, and still have my trusty IDA-64 O2 rig, converting to mixed gas. The Russian unit is sweet because it is a backmount, light, and has the limpet mine carrier still on the harness.

For a suit I have a nice Bare semi-dri which warms up quick (I am good for 2 dives in the winter on the BC-Alaska border) and I wear very light windsurfing gloves for dexterity (never used to wear gloves but am feeling it in my wrist and fingers for that stupidity). I used to fish commercially for octopus and pink/spiny scallops, still prefer diving alone to getting in everyone else's way.
