![]() | Another new guy Greetings Darksidians! I've been diving for three years now, and have a number of friends who have passed over to the bubbleless realm. I'm always interested in new technologies, so hence my presence here. I'm just reading and learning. Trying to decide if the extra expenses are worth it. From all the recommendations that I've been reading, seems like the Sport KISS is the standard starter unit. Learn to fly manually, before venturing on to ECCR. This site is a tremendous resource and am taking full advantage of it. Not sure where this venture will lead, but with all things it's the excitement of finding out!! Jack from PA |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Another new guy Welcome to the group. The Sport Kiss is a real easy unit to use. It is quick to setup and verify that everything is correct. Just verify/Set the handset and your are ready to go. Also it is nice having the chest area free of counter lungs. Once you can fly a Kiss the other rigs get really easy since you have a feel for you o2 usage.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Another new guy I second that. The Sport KISS, featured in Issue 3 of the Underwater Journal (www.underwaterjournal.com) is a great system with a lot of capabilities. This coming from someone who has gone from Drager Dolphin SCRs to Inspiration CCRs, to now using a Sport KISS. Simple is good. |

![]() | Re: Another new guy Thanks for the information. It appears to be a nice unit and I've downloaded the manual to read through a couple of times. I'm determining now when I decide to buy whether to go with ANDI or TDI training. Maybe I'll work it out next year.... Dive safe! |
