Hello all,

just a quick post to inroduce myself, my name is Gareth Hughes and i curently dive OC, but have just orderd a new YBOD with vision elecs (delivery due Nov/Dec) cant wait now to get started on the unit. I regulary dive trimix on OC and the escalating gas costs have seen me thinking about crossing over to the dark side for quite a while now, but the latest price increase is the straw that broke the twin set's back. One of my regular bud's dives the box so over winter we will do bags of dives to get me up to speed on the unit ready for next year.

I am doing my MOD1 with Matt @ midland rebreather diving and i am really looking forward to bubbless diving and the reduced gas costs.

any members from YD on this board will recognise me as i am a member there as well, i am in no doubt i will be posting some daft questions in the forthcoming months ref CCR diving so any help will be gladly recieved whilst i am getting to grips with my Rebreather, Oh to be a novice again....the joys

Welcome to the board, Gareth.
Plenty of your fellow YD mates here, including most of the free thinking spirits, as well as divers and units from around the world. Fun place to wait out the wnter storms.

Look at the fun side of being a novice again: It makes you feel young.
