Dive Shop down payment feeling!

I have been lurking on the board for a little while, knew that I would be going down the Rebreather path one day. Really did not think that it would be this soon, but a good opportunity came up a few weeks ago and I, along with four other fellow divers, ordered our RB’s! We became proud owners of Optimas this past Wednesday (good news and “kid in the candy store feeling”

). I will not be doing my training until July (bad news and “kid in the candy store having a whining fit because mom/dad would not buy some dum-dums”

), it’s still setting at the LDS! With all the money spent on my OC gear, training through Cave and Trimix, and now a Rebreather and training – I joke with my LDS about it being down payments on the shop. Well everyone here knows hobbies can take a couple of coins here and there!

Looking forward to expanding my diving arena and also learning as much as possible from this board…

I also went down the same path.... Was going to wait, but the deal on the Optima's was too good to pass up...

My class is in two and a half weeks, but staring at the unit every day for the past month has been a killer!

Good luck with your unit, and I hope the time passes quickly.
