just wanted to say hello am new to rebreathers and to the site just looking for all the info about them before i jump in and get one

You came to the best source out there to look for info on RBs.
And if you don't find what you are looking for, don't hesitate to ask. Plenty of great Rebreather divers here on the board who are willing to answer your questions.

Well Norm, speaking from experience, this site is great for divers new to Rebreather's.
It's taken me about 4 months from deciding which Rebreather to go for to actually doing my MOD1 (Monday coming). Don't be afraid to post daft questions - I put off posting threads for a good while. But the really good thing about Rebreather World is, loads of divers out there always respond with great ideas and solutions to problems. So enjoy my friend.
