Optima

I'm new to rebreather diving and am diving the Optima.
Did a few dives in Playa del Carmen February 2007 and now some more dives in Lake City.

Will do most of my diving in South Africa.

Had some great dives in Sodwanna and Umkomaas some years ago... miss the sharks, and driving on the "wrong" side of the road.

Ze' I stay about 1 hours drive South of Jnb International airport.
Sodwana and Umkomaas have some great diving. If you get a chance you want to do a Protea banks dive. Drift dive that normally has a very strong current, but you will get a chance to see all the those biggggg fish. Depth normally dived there around 40M (140')

Welcome aboard....did you get the FX version of the Optima or the standard version? I just upgraded my unit to the FX version and can't wait to get it wet...

I got the old version. FX came out about 2 weeks after I got mine.
Did the O2 injection tube mod to the plastic feeder. Don't know if I will do the other Mod's.

Will get the cover changed slightly to be able to get to the valves easier.
