![]() | Hello. Who has LAR Parts? Hello, I am cyphercube. I want to convert some of my older LAR V to Mk25, Does any one have, or know where i can get, the parts? I can get the cylinders, but I need the CGA fitting that goes on the pressure reducer. I know someone makes them, because one of mine already has this conversion on it. Thanks, Cyphercube. |

Thought about you when free diving crap vis on Kawai a couple of days ago. You still ‘inspectin’ shoes & sandwich bags @ PSP or are you back at KOA? You will find this site a fantastic resource for your 'mad scientist' needs. Oh: as to your question- try a BRASS CGA660 fitting. “Deathwish” east forever! ![]() Very best, Ken

![]() | Re: Hello. Who has LAR Parts? Ken: I saw your radial for the Meg. Impressive. I get the perforated metal in .045, but use no screen. Its about 165 plus shipping for a 2 foot by 10 foot. I have built a radial for the 240, but never got around to diving it. Not as elegant as yours, but much easier to do. Also leaves a nice well for sensors. Anyway, I am working for CEROS again, I think you were briefed on the REAPER CHEATER, the non-electronic PO2 controlller? that's the project. Hope to be doing the ocean work this summer, maybe Cozumel. Wanna be a test pilot (again?) On the LAR's: I don't want to go 660, that's almost what they have now. I want to go to the newer standard, which is the 540. That way, I can use modern, DOT certified tanks with american valves (that have OP devices) I think they use the same cylinders as your BMR, don't they? something like 5d by 10 long?If you need some spares, I may be getting a bunch. |
