| New forum member from Weymouth Hello everybody, I've been diving OC since 2001, with my deepest dive so far taking me to 47m in Papua New Guinea. This summer I should complete my divemaster training, and I have a basic (40%) nitrox qualification. Most of my dives are in the 20-30m range, although I have no problem going deeper if there is something worth seeing. I have done a little air deco diving in the past, but pretty much stick to no stop dives at the mo. My goals for the future include extending my time seeing the fishes at 20-30m when I dive here and abroad (was thinking about a Dolphin for this), but I reckon I might end up aiming to go deeper too (In the past I was never particularly into wreck diving, but I am beginning to discover that many of the deeper wrecks are in much better shape than some of the shallower wrecks I have dived so far, and are actually worth diving). My plan for now is to do some research, as I wonder if it may make more sense to move up to a SCR/CCR rather than spending my hard earned cash on large amounts of OC gear and expensive gas only to swap to a rebreather anyway later on. Anyway, now you know all about me I shall go back to lurking and learning. Andy |
