I dove through them last October & they didn't seem too accomodating for anything but air & 32% in Al 80's. When i gave them my trimix card as proof of certification, they asked if I had anything else - Like AOW... With that said, they ran a fine recreational charter. |

| Who loves ya, baby ![]() ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | The same was asked a few months ago on Scubaboard. Gerard (gkndivebum) lives on Kona, dives SCRs and CCRs and gave Jack's, DiveTEK and Gaspro as sources. If memory serves me right they have a SCR instructor or two, but not all employees know about the rebreather related stuff. Konaquatica as a source was highly recommended on The Rebreather List by Ron Benson after returning from a HI trip. They used YBODs, Megs and KISSes and got the needed supply of onboard and offboard tanks, gases and absorbant there. Hope we get to C Cme's comments after checking out those places. ![]() |

| New Member Current Rebreather/s: Other Rebreather/s: | Well I am here in Kona and Here it is. Jacks is a lost cause when it comes to Tec. DiveTec is really the only one here I have seen with a tec set up. Now I just got a Job at Bottom Time Hawaii in Kona. They have an amazing set up and I will have it running fully tec. in 1 month. The owner here spares NO expence. The boat is Sweet and the service is wonderful. We can already do O2 fills and have 3L tanks for the insp. But give us a month and we will be trimix ready. Come check us out in Kona. www.bottomtimehawaii" CmeRebreathing |

![]() | I dove with Jim at Konaquatica this past March. He seems to have a nice setup and a very nice boat. He dives a Cis Lunar (though he went OC when I was there). I hope to make it back there sometime soon as the diving was great. |

| PRISM diver ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Kona Rebreather and tech diving. Sorry for the delay in replying; to get trimix fills at Jack's you need to talk with someone other than the regular shop folks. Greg McLaughlin would be a good choice. Chuck Mather, who works for both Jack's and DiveTEK would be another choice. PM me if you need to get in touch with either of them. DiveTEK's fill station is at Jack's; they (DiveTEK) fill all the Helium and pure O2 there. I understand that Jim Holt at Konaquatica has some ability to fill pure O2 and maybe trimix. I've only talked with Jim briefly. Jack's can cater to SCR divers (Dolphin, mainly). They have had CCR divers on their boats before but lately they've been catering to more of the beginning open circuit diver. You can get Sodasorb from Gaspro. DiveTEK can run technical charters. I should mention that I occasionally am a dive guide or them (on both recreational and deep dives). In a pinch I can fill both pure O2 and trimix at home -- but I'm NOT a commercial outfit.
