Hello from VA

Just wanted to stick my head in and say hello to everyone. New CCR Diver here... just finished an excellent class on the Optima from John Jones a couple of weeks ago! Except for a few times where I could hear him laughing at me through his loop, it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend him as an instructor to anyone! : )
Look forward to following this site and many years of CCR Diving!

Ah, Rawlings. I try and make it down there at least once a year. Love how clear the water is, that is until the OW classes show up an muck it all up. I think your Optima may actually be bigger than your son.

I believe you to be correct!

Yeah, it was extremely clear when we were there a few weeks ago...so clear, you almost forgot how cold it was!!!
Since your fairly local, will you be out at Millbrook for the Chilly Willy this Sunday?

I'm not sure what my plans are yet, although I'd love to get back in the water. Getting a bit anxious. Also, I need to see if my dive shop has my regs back from being serviced.

Well, if you able, it's not a bad day out there...gate opens at 11 I believe and closes at 1130, so if your late, it'll be closed...we dive till 1500! Soup and Hot chocolate if you hang out with Splash!
