![]() | Hi From Glasgow Hi there, Been diving open circuit for 7 years now (single,pony twins) and have been swayed by the cost argument for trimix rebreathers versus o/c. Hopefully I can gain some information on these boards that just may convince me to buy a r/b unit reasonably soon (as soon as I have sold a kidney :>) Cheers for now Dredd |

After I rent J's of o2 and helium pay for whips/booster/gas blending AND a tri-mix course (for o/c) I would be halfway to the price of a rebreather anyway, and as you say the unit would recoup gas costs very quickly. Just having a quick read on the boards and I dont seem to be alone at arriving at this conclusion.
