Hello from New York

Greets everyone,

Figured I'd post a quick hello. I've been diving OC awhile now, mostly in warm climates (Bermuda, Jamacia, Mexico, Gulf of Mexico [See also: Black water diving

]. In my experiences I've talked with several tech. guys who do rebreather diving and have since been trying to check it out and absorb as much info as possible. I thought I'd join up here and start reading.

Dig in, read the articles, and don't be afraid to ask questions. We're a very friendly community here. There is no such thing as a dumb question, if you have a sincere desire to learn.

We have re-breather pilots of all experience levels, and on all sorts of machines, including "Russians" and DIY'ers.

Welcome to the Rebreather World, Sean. Good place to find a lot of info on rebreathers.
When the time comes NY is one of the better places to actually check units out, a handfull of good instructors covering most every unit available.

Actually I been keeping my eye for a 15.5 and have a few feelers out - I want one to do up for my winter potching project
