Cool Hello from Mexico

Hello everyone!

I'm a diver from Mexico City and have dived since around 1994. After being absent from the sport for about 4 years I decided to get certified for the first time in 2005, and went on to get my Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver certifications with PADI. Most recently I got certified with TDI for Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures, and am' intensely obsessed to go all the way up to Trimix.

I have learned much in the past two years about diving and want to go much further and learn lots more. I'm interested in getting into rebreathers, but where to start? I'm feeling inclined to go into CCR's as they will let me progress into tech diving, and the KISS or Pelagian rebreather units start to look like pretty sensible choices. I’ve been looking at those two options, the Inspiration and Ouroboro, and the Draeger Dolphin. So far the KISS looks like the place to start considering price and versatility.

So that sums it up. What would you guys recommend. Where to start?

Regards,

Teodoro,
Welcome to Rebreatherworld.com!
We are glad that you decided to join us here on the board.
You came to the right place to look for information.
This is sure your decision what rig you eventually purchase, but it seems your mind is pretty much set to go all the way to Trimix and I think it is a smart decision to look into a Rebreather that also will be trimix capable.

Search the forums, read read read read and if you don't find what your a looking for, don't hesitate to ask questions. Plenty of good people on board here who are willing to answer your questions.

Again, welcome on board and enjoy Rebreather World!

cheers,
RBN
