| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Hi from Cape Town, South Africa It's great to be welcomed to this fantastic site. So much information, so little time! I live in Cape Town, which is a great dive location, offering a really diverse range of diving opportunities, from macro photography of tiny critters to White Shark cage diving and wreck diving. I do a lot of underwater photography (amateur only: I have to make a living !) and started diving with a SCR about 5 years ago, in an attempt to reduce bubbles/noise etc. The SCR was Ok, but didn't live up to expectations - there are still quite a lot of bubbles with a SCR, but the real problem was the sawtooth bouyancy issue. It was very frustrating to compose a macro shot, only to drift off at the last moment, as the loop filled up!So, I have recently bought a Vision Inspiration and am busy getting as much dive time on it as possible - and loving it. In the future I'd like to extend my diving into deep/technical diving so that I can explore some of the many, many deep wrecks around the Cape coast. |
