| Re: Battery choice for vision Also has anyone tried rechargeable crp2p batteries in the vision or is that a bad idea I'm usually all for subverting the dominant paradigm, but this is one area i'd suggest you don't f**k with. the vision electronics seem to be a little bit like a thoroughbread, if fed the right thing they can win races...feed them something they don't like and they'll kick you in head. seen some on ebay, but dont know what they will be like?Any thoughts greatly appreciated ![]() My personal beliefe is that it has little to do with a need for better software, it's just a sensative system to batteries that can't put out a constant voltage output under a vascilating load. susceptible to dips and surges causing corruption in much the same way that many computers are, accept on a much smaller scale.

| Re: Battery choice for vision I have posted about Batterymasters.co.uk - Home several times before and about using Fujitsu batteries. This company is the UK importer of Fujitsu batteries. I avoid buying online but ring instead as this ensures they don't send me what's in stock if they're out of Fujitsus. I pay just under £3 per battery inc p & p for a minimum order of 12. The Panasonics I tried were useless! Charlie |

| Re: Battery choice for vision I could never get hold of fujitsu batteries (didnt know about the importer listed above), so I always used the Fuji batteries from 7dayshop, I found them to be reliable and not outragesly expensive, though I found I needed to have a good supply of them, always made sure I had several spare on a trip because they never lasted that long. |

The other problem is that inferior batteries fail quickly as I discovered to my cost whilst 40 miles off the UK coast diving the Murree Charlie |

| Re: Battery choice for vision Hmmmmmm Well I bougt Fuji's and Panasonics from 7dayshop.com both last well, In fact I have changed the Panasonics just becuse I'm off on a trip and they had done 18hrs witout losing more than 1 bar on the Master Fuji's were around the same to a warning - I was advised on Mod 1 to replace both at the same time when you get a warning from B1 - TBH seems sensible as they ony cost £2 or so - works for me |

Doesn't the manual say replace B1 battery with B2's, put new battery in B2 slot? That's what I was taught. I've got some Panasonics going for £2 each. Want them? Charlie |
