Evo Wing modification

Has anyone modified their YBOD and replace the original box with a standard back plate and wing? I have searched and cannot find and pics or how to's. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sorry... but what a lot of pointless, inflamatory tosh!!! Where did any mention of nationalities etc appear?!!

Was just trying to make the point (politely!!) that a little research can prevent repetitive questions

Actually looking to replace the YBOD with a wing and back plate.

On the other hand I believe it was a bill sponsered by Al Gore. But hey what do I know.

Steve thaks for your input and I apoligze for not better stating my question. I found a post at one time that went through step by step in modifing a Evo for a backplate and wing and doing away witht he YBOD. I ran a search several times and even searched on the topic evo but no luck.

Hey,

No worries...my winge was not intended to be taken too seriously....and I hope the link I provided to Pierre Farrugia's excellent article was of help... but there ARE a lot of resources already in the Library...written by far smarter people than me..

As I see it there are three levels of change you can make:

Replace APD harness with a backplate and simple harness (aka DIR?)
Replace entire Black / Yellow box with a different frame such as Decoweenie Travel Frame or one of a number of heavierweight frames such as Kent Tooling etc.
go to the ultimate lightweigt option as described here

Hope these are all of interest...but to pass on one bit of excellent advice I was given by Richie Stevenson.... dont many ANY changes to the configuration for the first 20 or 30 hours on the unit.... just get used to it first...and I believe it is a valid point.
