![]() | Larger Manifold Hi all having purchased a shiny new BOV for my inspiration classic, I now have an issue in that there are no available dil ports on my manifold. I know I should have thought about this when I decided on the BOV, but hey... I know there are a few extended manifolds out there, but searching on this forum and google have not been fruitful. Can anyone recommend a larger manifold (and tell me where I can buy it) that will still fit in a standard Inspiration case? Many thanks Paul |

If you had a CO2 hit, the experienced Rebreather divers on this site say that an inboard 3L cylinder is totally inadequate. Otherwise, would a T join be the answer? Personally I wouldn't want to add another potential failure point but...... Charlie |

![]() | Re: Larger Manifold I would suggest you plumb it into an external stage rather than your onboard 3L cylinder. I'm planning on running a line from both the manifold and stage, with a quick connect system. For "basic" dives, I will run it primarily from the manifold but for deepies, I will start the dive with it plumbed into the stage. If you had a CO2 hit, the experienced Rebreather divers on this site say that an inboard 3L cylinder is totally inadequate. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Larger Manifold Rather than fork out for a whole new manifold, you could try buying a 3/8" UNF 90 Degree elbow (about £14 3/8 90 Degree elbow by: Sub Aqua Products - DiveLife - DiveLife, ). You can plug it into to orifice at the end of the standard manifold. It will get your hose in the right direction......The L is on a swivel so it means it is easy to screw in your additional hose without taking the manifold off the box. F |

Sometimes there will be restrictions in the manifold and/or adapter that will limit the flow rate to the BOV. When you bail out to a BOV, most likely that you will be breathing more rapidly and not a good time to find out that the flow is limited.

It fits, honest! Best of luck Nick
