| Hi I have been seriously considering one of these. I have read about a 50/50 split of divers totally pissed off with trying to get there units working / fixed and divers who have had no problems. One thing I have found is there are new hard wired hand sets available that overcome the issues of the fisher connectors between the head and the wrist units. As someone who has already suffered the problems of faulty Fischer connectors I would strongly suggest this is the path to take. Obviously this means you can’t use the hand sets as a stand alone deco computer but is that a problem? I am still undecided on getting the head. It would save me about £900 over selling my unit and getting the vision but at least with the vision I can drive to the factory. ATB Mark Chase

Sure, now that the guy really pissed me off and after I've tried for months and months (about 1 millions phone calls (voice mails because he never picks up), 2 millions e-mails and a few snail mails) to settle the matter privately with him, I think I can make it public. I am very disappointed as I thought the man was a serious chap.Cheers Rich I was in the first run of HH (prototype) for the Classic Kiss, he promissed to deliver the latest version of the controllers at the time. Instead he sent me a (very) earlier version: not even with GF deco and that was one of the reason I wanted to get the HH (GF deco on line and SP controler). Never cared to explain, never answered to any of my attempts to reach him. After a few months I sent him back the whole lot asking for my $ back. Never responded, no news. He's acting like he doesn't care "because he's busy with a huge task" (Diverite Optima). Well, we're all busy guys, right? and he's the one selling stuff so he should at least give a minimal service. Bottom line: Today I have no HH and he keeps the $. I'm mad with the guy. I'm really REALLY pissed off. It seems that the guys can give his word but takes it back as soon as he needs it. Best Philippe |

| I'm in the same boat as Philippe I ordered a HH for one of our prototypes and I received a used set even with the original owners name still on the handset. I returned them immediately and waited and waited and finally after months I got a brand new set with no switches in either handset no solenoid or DIVA, I asked for my money back and I get the same response as Philippe does to many phone calls and emails. I haven't sent the units back as I can't get hold of Kevin but they are totally useless and I am out of pocket a couple of grand.

I am very disappointed as I thought the man was a serious chap. I spoke to Kevin, He told me the enitre story about the discounted HH, the HUD credit and payment for some machined swagelok connectors.. He also told me he would send me a response to post publicly... When I get it I will post it as I get it, so Its his words not mine.... but in the meantime here is some info for you..I was in the first run of HH (prototype) for the Classic Kiss, he promissed to deliver the latest version of the controllers at the time. Best Philippe The time the KISS HH were shipping REV A boards were the only reliable boards, there were some rev B boards but they had lots of tbls (as of late last summer I was still having my people request rev A boards from him).. I didn't ask him which ones he gave you... GF deco HAS been in the HH since day 1, it took about 6 months to get a Programable GF and better preset values.. EVen the people who bought paid for the earliest HH for the inspiration had to pay to upgrade to rev b and rev c boards.. (I have 1 of each... This Rev b works almost as advertised (wet switch takess too long to timeout (shutoff), the rev c is perfect, the next rev c+ will be out shortly)

| First of all, Kevin is a friend of mine and I agree that he is not the fastest guy in the world when it comes to providing turn-around service to everyone. But close to the 8-years that I know Kevin, he has always came thru for everything that he promised me *eventually*. IFAIK, it is because he has always been a very busy man way before he even started to build HH-anything. Back when he was working mainly on MK-15, it was not super fast for everyone but on the special occasions, I was able to push him to turn emergency fixes for me within a few days (received overseas as well). But during the last few years, I agree that he took on so much work that it is difficult to get a hold of him... But he always came thru... He delivered all (AFAIK) of the KISS-HH units ordered and even built the MK-15 HH for me. I even had 2 different versions of the KISS-HH to test and report to the KISS list. I don't know the story about Chris (Tech-Blue), but I have heard a completely different story about Philippe's unit. Since Kevin is not on this list to defend himself and give his side of the story (if he cares to), I have sent him an email about this post so he could decide to join the discussion or not. Up to him... From time to time, I have read "horror" story posted on the Internet about Kevin. And when I talked on the phone with him, he told me his side of the story and it was not the same. I am sure the truth is somewhere in between... |
