resolved

Hi All,
I want to let you know that I contacted Kevin.
He replied with a very fair and acceptable offer which I accepted. Bottom line is that I'll receive my Kiss/HH with some improvements.
This matter has been resolved to my satisfaction. So that's all. As far as I'm concerned, we can put an end to it.
Best
Philippe

Stuart, et al

I am a very happy bunny, Kevin and I made contact and he has offered me a very generous and complete solution and an incredibly fast turnaround too! I have already shipped the handsets back to him, I will post pics of the completed project once we put it all together.

I also give Kevin a big thumbs up for customer service.

Hi All,

Kevin more than met his end of the deal on my HH I now have a fully functioning unit which I intend to be diving as soon as I finish building the rig it will be going on which will more than likely be a winter project. Kevin actually delivered the unit a couple of weeks ago but I wanted to make sure that it was addressed on this post.

Thank you Kevin, we'll stay in touch.

Hi,

Please to report that I am one of the few who got the new Hammer Head (Aluminium casing - Optima controllers). I do a bit of beta testing for Kevin and my unit was sitting in his shop for the last 3 months to get that upgrade, on previous HH I had a lot problem with Fischer connector reason to switch to direct attached systems.

I must say I was very impressed when I received it, the craftmanship is excellent, nothing to compare with the lexan controllers. After few try in the pool earlier this week I took it for a spin @ 65m today and I must say unit work great, very steady PPO2 as always on HH with Jurgensen mode.

The electronic has improved and new functionnalities have been implemented, to name a few:

  • Barometer for altitude (Primary & Secondary)
  • Piezo Switches, no more sore fingers (P & S)
  • Depth Timer Temperature (S)
  • Diva Set Point or PPO2 (S)
  • BS0 Meter (P) Total run time of unit, no reset, as Kevin puts it "No Bullshit O meter"
This is still early days, we will have to see how it performs as time goes and once I start putting more depth on it.

Phil

I have been diving the HH for several years now and it's a great piece of kit... Those of you that are diving the new Vision electronics have Kevin to thank for pushing Martin and AP on improving their game. With that I think the HH is still a better design than the new AP electronics. I have been diving the newest version of the HH with the new wrist units for the last couple weeks and they are great! Now I fully agree that from time to time Kevin can be hard to reach but in the end he always comes through. Regardless... For the money the HH is a great value and an excellent option for the YBOD....

Dive Safe....

Ordered the HH three weeks ago and dove them last weekend. (-: Great service, especially since it was long distance (from the US to Belgium). What really impressed me where the buttons. So easy to use even with thick gloves. Great job Kevin and great service. Which I could compare to the Vision, but it will take some time before I get my hands on those.
