APD Expedition rebreather???

I just found a post on another board from last March that APD is coming out with another rebreather called the Expedition. Does anyone know if this is true?

The post mentioned a couple features, but that was it....havent heard anything about it, but I'm sure someone has the scoop.

It was done as a design project by a student at Loughborough University. The young lady in question had an input in the HUD on the Vision electronics and also the hinged lid to the Evolution. I saw the unit in the flesh. Two radial scrubbers with a switch to change between them. There was survey of desirable features collated from a request posted on the CDG forum. To be honest I would have preferred a dual "Twinspiration" type unit. The radial scrubber had been ANSTI tested.

Apparently AP have a regular contact with Loughborough University (my former employers) and have sandwich students from the Design Course (I used to teach them engineering statics) working for them. A lot of the course is more about aesthetics rather than engineering.

Hi,

I also heard something about a new rebreather from APD. So I wrote to the customer service a few month ago, asking if there will be a APD EXpedition CCR in the near future.
