hi
i need a head without any drillings on the top of the head.only the big hole for the breathinghose.were can i find this part?

If you or anyone else wants some more heads, here are the machining files, including a pdf, so any machine house can produce them for you if you just send them the zip. The file is for the head we did for our own use with rechargeable batteries, but has the other benefit that the flood hazard on the top is removed (where the keying for the hose fitting on the standard head is too shallow).

Acetal copolymer or popularly known as Delrin in the industry.
You need this grade that is porosity free (as stated in the drwg.)

Delrin is a homopolymer..

A good descriptions of somoe common plastics can be found here

Thanks joe, for enlightening me on that.

In my country, Delrin is a general name for this mat'l - unless we specify to the supplier whether we want copolymer or homopolymer type.

I have worked on this mat'l for years and they are very easy to machine with good finishing also.

Recently I purchased one rod in sexy RED color for my project.

sometimes I guess it gets like when people istead of saying they will photocopy something they will xerox it..

Yes, Delrin is a trademark of Dupont and a very popular name adopted by suppliers for this mat'l even though they are made by different manufacturers and is the same to Teflon also. The mat'l name stay as such.

Attached pic. is an macro lens adaptor I have built for an U/W photography freak friend of mine.
