| Evo Replacement Inflator? I'm looking to replace the inlator hose assembly and Auto-Air on my Evo. Can anyone tell me where I can find and/or buy a replacement assembly? I'm looking for a standard inflator setup such as a Halcyon that I can screw onto the Evo bladder. The Evo bladder has a different connection than my other wings; it doesn't accept Halcyon, Dive Rite or OMS. Again, I want something very plain and simple; no pull dump, shorter hose and standard infator. Thank you in advance for any advice and/or recommendations you can make. |

Just pop off the auto-air, cut the pull dump cable and the just use the hose clamp to attach a standard replacement inflator, It fits fine....

You can pull the stainless steel pin to one side & unhook the pull coord. I fitted a standard AP inflator & made two small hole (like the Auto-Air), transfered the pin across thus keeping the pull dump operational.Just an alternative. |

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I don't think I was clear. I'm looking to get rid of the entire inflator line from the bladder to the Auto-Air. I do not want a pull dump; I want a standard elbow. I don't want the stock inflator hose because it is at least 8" too long. I don't want the Auto-Air for a number of reasons. I'm looking for an assembly that's about 16"-18" utilizing a standard elbow and inflator. Thanks again for any help you or someone else can offer. |

| Re: Evo Replacement Inflator? Disconnect corregated hose at other end (near dump) & cut the coord there! Fit new inflator as Joe says & cut hose shorter if required. |

| Re: Evo Replacement Inflator? if you are going to cut anything, make sure you have considered warrenty issues...though the head is mainly the only thing you send back. but just in case you hadn't thought of that, some companies are very technical about their warrenties.

I should have said cutout meaning totally remove the cable..Just an alternative.

If you are really afraid the dump will fail (doubtful) most dumps are easiy enough to permanently plug closed (I havent opened the AP one)Thanks again for any help you or someone else can offer.

This is why I'm looking to replace the entire assembly. Should I decide to sell the unit in the future, I want to be able to return it to "stock" condition. Thank you, and the others, for the input. |

I know a number of people who have done this.
