| Liquid Productions, LLC Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Worthington Cylinders? Hi Jason. We looked at using the Worthington High Pressure cylinders for our Megs.... Thought they had great dimensions, bouyancy characteristics, etc... The only problem is that to get a full fill (Whether it's 13 or 19 cubic feet), you need to have someone pumping High pressure O2. You're not going to be able to get boosted O2 easily everywhere you go - If it's not an issue for you - ie - if your shop or you do it your self and you're not going anywhere, no big deal - but if you're traveling with them at all - there are a lot of places that won't or can't boost O2 to 3400 or above, where as with the low pressure cylinders, it's pretty easy to get a 2600 or above fill on O2.... It was just something that I hadn't though of until later on during the cylinder search and figured I'd share - As to the sizes, I believe there are pretty good and reliable size charts out there that will let you compare cylinders. Best Regards, Has anyone tried the Worthington 13 cubic foot (High Pressure) steel cylinders in the Evolution case? If so, how does it fit? Cheers Jason |

| Bloody Rebreathers! Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Worthington Cylinders? Hi David, thanks for your reply, you see you see this is my dilemma: Here in Oz we have been unable to source “Australian Approved” cylinders to fit in the Evolution case. Now within the last couple of weeks I have been approached by 2 separate suppliers (one Faber, and one Worthington). Both will finally be able to supply Aussie approved cylinders of the same water capacity. The thing is …..Australia is SO small in this market we do not need two suppliers individually importing 2L steel cylinders specifically for the Evolution CCR. Hence my question whether the Worthington 2L will even fit into the case of the Evo. So, has anyone even tried it? Cheers Jason.

| Re: Worthington Cylinders? Jason, you say: "Here in Oz we have been unable to source “Australian Approved” cylinders to fit in the Evolution case." Does this mean the standard cyclinders which are shipped with the Evo are not permitted in Oz? I ask this with some concern as my Evo is being delivered in March and I am then planning to move to Perth in June next year. If I can't use the yellow box I ain't coming, and that's all there is to it!! ![]() |

| Re: Worthington Cylinders? Worth noting: The Worthington 13 has a listed capacity of 16.2 cuft. at 3,443 psi according to the USA distributor Sea Pearls. That is still almost 12 cuft. at 2,500 psi for the pressure challenged fill stations. Ted

| Bloody Rebreathers! Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Worthington Cylinders in the Evo case? They will not fit in an Evolution case. Hi Lee,Lee First up, THANK YOU for donating the 20kg of sorb at the RBW party, unfortunately I could not bring it home to OZ, but I believe it may have found a use by now. Secondly, I was trying to chase down these details on the tanks at DEMA, but you were almost impossible to catch up with!!!! thanks for the clarification. Cheers Jason
