Just done my first to dives with the Shearwater HUD

there will be a full write up soon in the mean time here is an excellent shot taken by Padowan of the HUD in action this morning.

Keep the information as its very timely becasue I am looking at this upgrade at the moment.

Where did you get a proper HUD mount come from. Its not the rubber and hose clamp clip they recommend ?

Its the one from the Inspiration Vision HUD, you need to adapt the HUD somehow either with a bit of hose or a nice machined bush - The nice narkedat90 is I believe making some

I was also looking at the display and seems like a nice lower cost to equip the Inspiration Classic with a HUD

I'm sure you will talk about it in the write up but if the display is based on a ppo of 1.0 how is the display in the low set point and high 1.6 ppo situations?

Very nice thank you. I know I don't check my handsets enough, do you find yourself checking them more or not at all with a HUD?
