wing and backplate for Inspiration

Hi all,

I need some advice. I can probably get hold of two second hand inspirations. Changing to backplate & wing and gitting rid of the autoair seems a common aproach.

Which wing/backplate system would you recommend? I'd like to keep it light because we travel quite alot.

Silly question, but have you dived the Inspo un-modified? You may find you don't need to swap just yet - and there are plenty of other toys to to buy which may be more useful... (ADV/DSV etc).

Mark Chase has posted a good write up on what he did - have a quick search for it and you'll see he includes pictures. I have gone a different route and replaced the box with a stainless steel one. This works for me.

I contacted Tobias for more info on the plastic backplate and some other parts they sell. If I can lay my hands on those Inspirations next week then I will probably use it.
