| Vision - Transport and Storage Following on from the thread about Classic handsets, which brought up some interesting experience on storage and transport, I have a couple of questions about the Vision: - Are the handset and cable at ambient? - Is the cable open to allow water to travel from the head to the handset, as it is on a Classic? The upshot of those two, are the following: - Should I store/transport my Vision upright or on its back? The consensus for the Classic seems to be upright, but the crate and the logistics of getting it into my divemobile would encourage me to transport it on its back - Do I need to hang the handsets above the head? - Is it so critical to get the head off and dry it immediately after a dive? As ever, many thanks in advance. Cheers,

| Re: Vision - Transport and Storage don't transport on its back on its fromt yes on its back NO, instructor should tell you this Thanks - just wanted to check. How does on it's front help? Surely water will still travel down the cable?![]() I'll admit that I haven't done my course yet - I start on Thursday. I'm just dreading doing something stupid that knackers it upfront. Cheers,

Cheers, but it stops it pooling on the cells, on its fron the head will still be above everything else so unlesss the scrubber is full of water its not going to end up in the handset.

| Re: Vision - Transport and Storage maybe? Thanks - that makes sense. Sounds like the same rules apply as for the Classic. On that basis, presumably upright is best of all, if possible, as water won't get into the head (and onto the cells) and won't then travel down the cable. If not upright, then face down.but it stops it pooling on the cells, on its fron the head will still be above everything else so unlesss the scrubber is full of water its not going to end up in the handset. Cheers,
