I say it is up to you which ones you want to run on the inside. On my unit the HP-gaugehoses are on the inner side and LP-hoses on the outer side.also it will not hold a pos/neg pressure test and my instructor say it never will with the ADV fitted is that right? ( inspiration 9 months old ) The adv will leak if you do not have a flow stop fitted. With flow stop you can do a proper neg. andpos. JH Finland |

With the ADV fitted and the Flow stop engaged I am able to do both pos and neg tests without a problem. (PS my unit is 4 months old)The adv will leak if you do not have a flow stop fitted. (PS my unit is 4 months old) Same here on the config and if you don't have a Flow Stop you can always keep the diluent bottle closed prior to the test so that ADV cannot operate.Cheers Nick |

Hi Gary, also it will not hold a pos/neg pressure test and my instructor say it never will with the ADV fitted is that right? ( inspiration 9 months old ) Good luck with your MOD 1 course, discuss the fact you find the hose's feel tight when fitted on the inside and see how they can be routed more comfortably. Your Instructor will have a look at this with you and sort it out remember he is not an obstacle to get around rather a mentor who is sharing his experience to give you the basic knowledge and also the confidence to use your Inspiration safely. Positive and Negative loop checks are a fundamental part of the Inspiration Pre-Dive check routine and must be done before every dive, I do not believe there is an instructor out there who would not know how to do this blindfolded.
